World football legend Pele has in will recognized his “secret” daughter after denying her his entire life, according to sources.
Pele had previously denied his paternity of Sandra Regina when she was alive some 17 years ago.
In spite of his denial of Sandra Regina, he requested to meet with her two sons, only speaking to them for the first just a day before he died.
After finally naming Sandra Regina among his seven children in his will, it has come out that he gave a share of his multi-million-dollar estate to her two sons.
Sandra Regina’s sons, Octavio Felinto Neto and Gabriel Arantes do Nascimento revealed that it was their mother’s dream come true.
Gabriel Arantes expressed their excitement at meeting their legendary grandfather after he had invited them through their aunts.
Sandra was born after Pele had an affair with his cleaner, Anisia Machado. She died in 2006 of cancer.
Pele refused to admit he was Sandra’s father, even after a DNA test result proved he was.
Sandra was given the right to use Pele’s surname, Nascimento, in 1996 after a five-year legal battle.
