Veteran Australian broadcast journalist and television presenter, Peter Overton was born in Sydney, Australia.
He attended Lane Cove Public School and North Sydney Boys High School.
He earned a Bachelor of Economics degree from Macquarie University.
Peter plays the tuba, an instrument he learned to play while at Lane Cove Public School.
Overton’s first media job was with Seven Network as a sports reporter.
