Petra Kvitova was born on 8 March 1990 in Bílovec, Czechoslovakia. She is a Czech professional tennis player.
Kvitova was introduced to the sport of tennis by her father and she looked up to Martina Navratilova as her role model.

Petra who is known for her powerful left-handed groundstrokes is an Olympic bronze medal winner from the 2016 Rio Olympics representing the Czech Republic.
