Playing Against Angola In Luanda Will Be Difficult – Ghana Coach Chris Hughton Admits

Chris Hughton, the head coach of Ghana Black Stars, has conceded that the game against Angola on their home turf will be a difficult one for his team.

The coach revealed that he is anticipating a very tough encounter against the second-placed Group E opponents in the 2023 African Cups of Nations qualifiers.

Hughton said in a press conference that he thinks it will be a difficult game because Angola showed in big parts of the game the quality that they have got, their way of play.

He further stated that he does not think there will be there will be too many surprises in the way they play because they are very technical and they like to play a very expansive game.

Chris Hughton concluded that it is about making sure that his side defends well on the day, plays as a unit, and takes its opportunities, perhaps a little bit better than what it did in the first game.

Ghana takes on Angola today in Luanda. The game will kick off at 16:00GMT at the 11-November Stadium.
