Raphael Gamaliel Warnock is an American politician cum pastor who was born on 23 July 1969 in Savannah, Georgia.
He was the eleventh of the twelve children his parents had.
Warnock left Sol C. Johnson High School in 1987 and went to Morehouse College in order to follow in the footsteps of Martin Luther King Jr.
He graduated from college with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
Until 2005, Raphael was the senior pastor of Douglas Memorial Community Church. He now doubles as the senior pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta and a junior United States senator from Georgia.
He is a member of the Democratic Party and has been in office since 20 January 2021.
Warnock is divorced with two children.
