Reilly Opelka Parents: George Opelka, Lynne Opelka

Reilly Opelka was born on 28 August 1997 in St. Joseph, Michigan.

He is an American professional tennis player. Standing at a staggering 6 feet 11 inches he is on par with Ivo Karlovic as the tallest-ever Association of Tennis Professionals-ranked player.

On 28 February 2022, he was ranked as high as world number 17 in the singles and doubles as world number 89 on 2 August 2021. He has four ATP singles titles and one doubles title in his trophy cabinet.

Opelka started tennis lessons at age of 12 through USTA in Boca Raton. He turned professional in 2015 and is currently being coached by Jay Berger and Jean-Yves Aubone.

He made his ATP debut at the 2016 U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championships where he lost in the first round to Sam Querrey.

Opelka who resides in Delray Beach, Florida has his uncle as a radio talk show host Mike Opelka.
