Sarah Bloom Raskin Parents: Herbert Bloom, Arlene Bloom

Sarah Bloom Raskin was born on 15 April 1961 in Medford, Massachusetts.
She is an American attorney and regulator who served as the 13th United States Deputy Secretary of the Treasury from 2014 to 2017.

Bloom Raskin served on the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve from 2010 to 2014. She served as a managing director at the Promontory Financial Group and the commissioner of financial regulation in Maryland.

Raskin had her high school education at Homewood-Flossmoor High School in Flossmoor, Illinois before going to earn a Bachelor of Arts in economics at Amherst College.

She received her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and was honored with an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters by Muhlenberg College on May 19, 2019.

She started her work with the government as an associate at Arnold & Porter and as counsel for the Senate Banking Committee.

She lives in Takoma Park, Maryland with her husband Sen. Jamie Raskin, and two daughters Tabitha and Hannah.

Herbert Bloom and Arlene Bloom are the parents of Sarah Bloom Raskin.
Herbert was born on 23 November 1930 in Roxbury, Massachusetts, and died on 21 March 2018 at age 87.

Arlene Bloom is the mother of Sarah B. Raskin, however, there is not much information available about her.
