Sarkodie Is A Legend – C.K Akonnor’s Son Opens Up On His Love For African And American Music

Charles Jesaja Hermann Akonnor is the son of C.K Akonnor (ex-Ghana coach), and he has spoken out about his love for Ghanaian music. He describes Sarkodie, a legendary rap artist, as a legend.

The German-born Ghanaian said that he grew up listening to legendary Ofori Amponsah songs, not only that, but has since grown to love Nigerian music.

C.J Hermann pointed out that he listens to a lot of American music and pays tribute to Pop Smoke. He also expressed his love for Drake’s ‘Certified Lover Boy.

I like to listen to Ofori Aponsa. He’s an old school musician. But right now, Migos is my guy. In Africa, Omah Lay and many Nigerian artists doing good music right now, like WizKid, Burna Boy. Of course Sarkodie the legend,” he told Omasports.com.

American music, my favourite artist is Drake and Pop Smoke – because you can feel the energy in his music but he sadly passed away.

The 21-year-old, who represented Germany at youth level, has announced his intention to play for Ghana at senior levels.
