Scott Alexander Scheffler was born on 21 June 1996 in Ridgewood, New Jersey.
He is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour.
He is the winner of the 2022 Masters Tournament and has been ranked world number one as recently as July 2022 by the World Golf Ranking.
As a three-year-old, Scott’s parents bought him plastic clubs and balls, an act that ignited his interest in the game. He went on to take golf lessons at the Royal Oaks Golf Club.
Scheffler who turned professional in 2018 had a very successful junior career with 75 wins under his belt.
He has six professional wins to his name and was previously on the Korn Ferry Tour.
