Ella Florence Abbot is the daughter of Sean Abbott and his wife Brier Neil. The couple got married on 29th June 2022 after being in love for so long.

Sean Abbott marked his Twenty20 International debut for Australia in a match against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates on October 5, 2014. Just two days later, he also made his One Day International debut, again facing Pakistan in the UAE. Subsequently, he participated in two additional Twenty20 matches for Australia against South Africa in early November 2014.

In recognition of his promising talent, Abbott was honored with the Bradman Young Cricketer of the Year award at the Allan Border Medal ceremony conducted by Cricket Australia in 2015.

In July 2022, Abbott secured a place in the Australian squad for the ODI series against New Zealand and Zimbabwe. His consistent performances led to another call-up in September 2022 for the T20I series against India.

August 2023 saw Abbott receiving another call-up, this time for the T20I series against South Africa. His presence was also enlisted for the ODI series against South Africa and the series against India.

Notably, Abbott earned a spot in the Australian squad for the 2023 ODI World Cup in India, announced in September 2023. On November 11, 2023, he made his debut in the ODI World Cup against Bangladesh, contributing figures of 2/61 in Australia’s final group stage victory.
