World sensational singer, Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll has announced a separation from her 12-year-old marriage with footballer Gerard Pique.
A statement from her communication team has confirmed the news. Shakira added that her children are now their highest priority.
“We regret to confirm that we are parting ways. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding”.
This comes after the Barcelona star was caught in bed with another woman. As if that wasn’t bad enough for their marriage, Suzy Cortez, Miss Bumbum also claimed that the defender had hit on her.
Cortez revealed that the soccer player had sent her messages requesting for the sizes of some of her body parts.
“He was the one who sent me -message- more direct. The only Barcelona players who never sent me anything were Messi and Coutinho.
They are great husbands, and they respect their wives a lot. Shakira didn’t deserve this,” Cortez told El Diario NY.
