Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll was born on 2 February 1977 and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia. She is a Colombian singer known for her musical dexterity and is often referred to as the “Queen of Latin Music”.
The Colombian superstar rose to fame mostly in Hispanic countries with her albums Pies Descalzos (1995) and Dónde Están los Ladrones? (1998).
