Award-winning Ghanaian dancehall singer Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, Well-known as Shatta Wale, has finally come out of his silence on the rumors that circulated through social media that he’s been shot by unknown gunmen in East Legon.
It was earlier reported that Shatta Wale was shot by unknown gunmen in East Legon. The information was revealed in a post by his PR person, Nana Dope, who revealed that the gunmen remain at large after killing Shatta Wale.
He also announced his knowledge that Shatta Wale was being treated at a private hospital in Ghana however, he was in a critical state. The fans of the singer were left in the middle of a crisis since they are waiting to hear from his medical team.
In the late hours of yesterday, the Ghana Police Service also released a statement, stating that their efforts at trying to locate Shatta Wale in connection with the incident has proven unsuccessful. They have also not been able to confirm the incident with any of his members of his team.
The self-acclaim ed king of the dancehall has appeared to respond to the allegations that are being made on social media about him being shot. He slammed the security forces in Ghana for not arresting Jesus Ahuofe, a prophet of God whom he predicted the singer would be killed on that fateful day. He claims that he’s in hiding at the moment as his own life has been put in risk.
