She Didn’t Show Any Signs Of Weakness – Okomfo Kolege Talk’s About Wife’s Death

Veteran Ghanaian actor, Okomfo Kolege, Collins Oteng has revealed that there were no signs to indicate his late wife who died in labor was weak.

Ghanaians were in shock and showed up to mourn and support, the actor when his wife passed away.

Speaking on the circumstances surrounding her passing, Kolege revealed that his wife had not for once during her pregnancy shown any signs to raise an alarm. He explained that she was very strong all throughout her pregnancy.

“My wife never showed any signs of weakness during her pregnancy or even when the baby was almost here. The way she is, you wouldn’t believe it if they told you she was pregnant and her time was due because of her stature. She walked by herself and she never showed signs of weakness.”

He added that he couldn’t go into the delivery room to stand by his wife owing to his soft personality. He explained that even though he had rushed his wife to the hospital, she later came out to tell her it would take a lot more time before the baby would come out.

“When she came, she told me she hadn’t dilated up to 10 centimeters and was just at two centimeters. According to her, she needed about four hours more until the baby arrived. I am a very soft person regarding childbirth, so I couldn’t go inside with my wife.”
