Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is a Jamaican sprinter who competes in the 60, 100, and 200 meters. She was born on December 27, 1986. She is regarded as one of the greatest sprinters of all time.
From the late 2000s until the early 2020s, Fraser-Pryce had unprecedented international success, which boosted the recognition Jamaican athletes got globally.
She has won five world championships and two Olympic gold medals in the 100 m. She also has two medals in the 200 m, an Olympic silver medal, and a World Championship gold. Shelly-Ann has won eight Olympic medals overall.
