Sonali Phogat was born on 21 September 1979, in Haryana, India.
She was an Indian actress, politician, and content creator.

Phogat who rose to fame when she featured in after in the 14th season of Big Boss which she entered as a wildcard, made her acting debut in 2016 in the television series ‘Ek Maa Jo Lakhon Ke Bani Amma’ and subsequently in a Haryanvi film titled ‘Chhoriyan Chhoron see Kam Nahi Hoti’.

Phogat joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2008 and subsequently became the National Vice President of BJP Mahila Morcha.

Phogat died of a heart attack on 22 August 2022, aged 42.
