A member of the board of Accra Hearts of Oak, Vincent Sowah Odotei has taken an exception to Aziz Haruna Futah’s allegation that the management is culpable for the poor attendance at Hearts’ matches.
He described the allegations by Haruna FUtah as unwise and unwarranted.
The phenomenon of poor match attendance has been the bane of the Ghana Premier League, something that has resulted in low revenue generation by teams.
Awal Mohammed, the public relations officer of Kumasi King Faisal Football Club, at the beginning of the month revealed that his team did not generate any income at the gate from their match against Nsoatreman.
The Minister of Sports, Mustapha Yussif has had a meeting with various interest parties to seek a resolution to the phenomenon of low attendance at matches.
In his reaction to Aziz Hurana Futah, Sowah Odotei expressed his disagreement and stated a wise person would not make the pronouncements Futah had made because low patronage of league matches is not a challenge faced only by Accra Hearts of Oak.
