As the first images from her star-studded wedding to Ben Jones in South Wales were made public, Strictly Come Dancing pro Amy Dowden has revealed that her marriage is a dream come true.
Amy, 31, of Caerphilly, joined the BBC dance competition show in 2017. She was joined on the big day by four of her former celebrity partners as well as a large number of other Strictly Come Dancing family members.
Talking about her wedding, Amy said: “It was a day I’d dreamt of since I was a little girl and, well, it was even more than that.”
Ben also added that “Amy looked beautiful… and having a member of McFly singing at our wedding was obviously a highlight.”
The occasion was lit with a performance from Tom Fletcher. Amy said, “I originally asked Tom to sing as I walked up the aisle, but he told me he always cries at weddings, so I wanted to let him enjoy the ceremony”
