Nicola Adams and her partner Ella Baig has welcomed a boy into the world.
The couple, who made their pregnancy announcement in February, said their son was born on Saturday morning.
The boxer and Strictly Come Dancing contestant expressed her love and pride for Ella in a statement.
“We are so excited to have welcomed our son into the world on Saturday morning at around 7 am. Nothing prepares you for this moment in life but I am so overwhelmed with love and proud of Ella.”
“We can’t wait to start this new chapter with baby Adams,” she added in an interview with Hello.
Nicola and Ella shared their first scan earlier this year when they excitingly announced they were expecting a child together.
The Olympian, 39, and blogger, 24, who have been dating for four years, announced their pregnancy in February by sharing a photo of their ultrasound with their fans before revealing the baby’s gender.
Three years prior, the couple had been attempting to conceive a child using Nicola’s egg and a donor sperm that looked similar to Ella.
