Swansea City manager Steve Cooper has revealed that top scorer Andre Ayew will be fit for their next home game against Derby County.
The Ghana captain limped off after eight minutes of the clash with Wycombe and missed the home defeat to Queens Park Rangers.
He won’t be available for the trip to Reading but should be fit for the game against Derby County.
“We’re doing everything we can, and he is doing everything he can to be fit,” added Cooper.
“It’s likely that he’ll miss the weekend. If he does, he’ll certainly be ready for Derby.
“We feared that it would be a lot worse than what it actually is. This game has probably come too soon, but we’ll give him every chance.
“We’ve not given up on it yet. We won’t be taking any risks with him.”
Andre Ayew has been Swansea’s livewire this season, netting 15 times in 41 games as the Welsh side chase promotion.
