Tambuwal Loses Another Aide To APC

A special adviser to Gov. Aminu Tambuwal, Alhaji Abubakar Kwaire has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) a few days before the 2023 general elections.

Bashar Abubakar, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Sen. Aliyu Wamakko (APC, Sokoto North) issued a statement to confirm Kwaire’s defection and also stated that he was received by Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu the state APC governorship candidate Sokoto.

According to Kwaire, his decision to join the APC was motivated by Wamakko’s leadership qualities.

He said that he believes with Wamankko as the APC leader and Alhaji Aliyu as the governor of the state if elected, the are more expectations of democratic dividends.

The governorship candidate Alhaji Aliyu in his welcome remarks to the new party member assured him of equal treatment like all other party members.

Kwaire, a former member of the Sokoto State House of Assembly, hailed from Tambuwal Local Government.
