Brighton defender Tariq Lamptey has begun training individually at the team’s training ground. This is a result of a knock he picked in a 4-0 win over West Ham United on 4 March.
Under the supervision of the team’s medical team, the diminutive defender underwent a series of scans.
Lamptey started in Roberto De Zerbi’s side that demolished West Ham United but was taken off only after 16 minutes with what was suspected to be a knee injury.
After missing out in Brighton’s 2-2 away draw with Leed United over the weekend, It is not known if he will be named in the team’s match-day squad for their English Premier League match against Crystal Palace tomorrow.
