Edward “Ted” Michael Robbins was born on 11 August 1955 in Liverpool, Lancashire, England.
He is a British comic, actor, television presenter, and radio broadcaster.
Robbins’ grandfather who was his namesake was the secretary of the Football Association of Wales between 1909 and 1946. Ted himself is the President of Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary in Edenfield.
He is the only male among five siblings.
It turned out that all of his four sisters, Jane Robbins, Kate Robbins, Amy Robbins, and Emma Robbins are actresses.
Ted attended the University of Liverpool. He has starred in Calendar Girls as Fat Bike Man.
