Former Nederlands midfielder, Rafael Van der Vaart has expressed his conviction that Ghana winger Mohammed Kudus is one of the best players currently in the Dutch Eredivisie.
Van der Vaart says that the Black Stars winger has so much potential that will astonish many football fans around the world if he is able to reach his full potential.
He said he saw Kudus play in a friendly match in Ajax and spoke to Marc Overmars afterward about the young player. He revealed that Overmars told him that Kudus is his best signing ever and is going to be worth 100 million euros.
According to Van der Vaart, Kudus has not shown his full potential yet because he has not been used to his full strength yet. He says the Ghanaian has everything a footballer need in his position.
Speaking in an interview after Ajax’s 5-0 demolishing of SC Cambuur added that Kudus’ strength and speed make him the best player at Ajax. He revealed his happiness at Johnny Heitinga picking Mohammed Kudus in his squad.
This season, Mohammed Kudus has scored seven goals and assisted one goal after making 19 appearances in the Dutch Eredivisie.
