A social media user with the account name Charles Amoaku has lambasted the Kumerican rapper, Yaw Tog over his claims that he made Stormzy more popular after his collaboration with him on his “Sore” remix.
Yaw Tog in a recent interview with MzGee on TV3’s claimed that his collaboration with Stormzy made him reach new heights in his career and also hyped the British rapper in Ghana.
He said that if not for his song, Stormzy wouldn’t have been known in Ghana. According to him, Stormzy made him popular on the music market, but he also made him popular in Ghana as well because people didn’t know about Stormzy until his feature.
Well, some social media users reacted to his claims, as many tags the young rapper as ungrateful and arrogant.
It is at the back of this that a netizen took to the comment section while reacting to a post made by ghgossip.com and said that the young rapper is arrogant for making such claims on National TV.
According to him, Stormzy was known in Ghana way before he even collaborated with Yaw Tog on his “Sore” remix. He also addressed the fact that Ghanaians were following Stormzy’s music before he even featured with Yaw Tog on his song, thus his claim is baseless.
He wrote; This is pure arrogance boss!!! You you come no keep you start dey give shout out to haters…..Stormzy was known in Ghana way before you(Yaw Tog) even came to the scene.. Do you know how many people were following him before he featured you

It’s so disrespectful for Yaw Tog to say he made Stormzy popular in Ghana. He must apologize to Stormzy!!! Some of us listened to Sore because of Stormzy.
