Arsenal ace midfielder Thomas Teye Partey has joined Ghana camp ahead of the international friendly against the Ivory Coast on the weekend.
The 27-year-old midfielder was excused from the Black Stars’ trip to face Morocco on Tuesday in Rabat after he was granted permission to sort out some personal issues.
Partey turned up at the Black Stars training at the Cape Coast Siwdu Park on Wednesday as preparations began for the game against the Ivory Coast.
He was joined by Brentford FC player Tariqe Fosu who was also left out of the squad for the Morocco friendly after arriving late at camp.
Black Stars suffered a 1-0 defeat to the Moroccans, who benefited from a goalkeeping error to get the match winner.
The duo will part of the Ghana team when they take on the Elephants at the Cape Coast stadium on Saturday 12 June 2021.
