Most well-known Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has joined reports suggesting that the alleged s£x video tape with her boyfriend was just publicity purposes, and is not as genuine as she appears.
The singer has previously revealed in an interview that someone was looking to blackmail her using the s£x tape that she recorded in the presence of her lover.
However, she stated that she’s not willing to give any money to the unidentified person who was responsible for the blackmail, since she described it as natural.
She gave fans the heads-up that this video was going to be a major hit on the internet, and her followers don’t need to be concerned about the video, adding that she’s planning to discuss it with her son.
As she said, her video was accidentally posted via Snapchat by her partner, however, it was removed moments later after resolving the mistake.
The incident has resulted in a variety of reactions when the footage was posted online on Monday night. Many questions her about being negligent, and some are of the opinion that the tape is intended as a publicity stunt.
Tiwa Savage has responded to the scathing criticisms as she took to her Instagram stories by saying that those who made remarks that it was a public stunt were disappointed that she was able to manage the story as well as not allow the footage to ruin her.
Part of the post read, “You hated how I was able to control the narrative and get ahead of a story before it consumed me and how I was able to joke on stage about something you thought will destroy me and make me ashamed”
