It seems Travis Scott’s woes are far from over as the family of Ezra Blount, one of the victims of Astroworld continues to cancel him over his negligence of fan safety.
According to Alex Hilliard, a lawyer for the family of Ezra Blount, Scott’s behavior at the July 4 concert at Coney Island does not demonstrate that the rapper as sympathetic and eager to maintain order but the exact opposite of that.
“He knows exactly how to keep his fans safe during a concert, but the problem with that is he didn’t just learn about the fact that he has control over the entire crowd.”
He added that the unfortunate incident could have been avoided if Travis Scott had used the power in his hand better.
“There are 10 people that would still be alive today, including young Ezra Blount, if Travis realized his responsibility as an artist goes further than just trying to rile up his crowds, and it reemphasizes the rule of ‘if you see something say something.'”
