Trevor Strnad was the lead vocalist and co-founder of the US melodic death metal band the Black Dahlia Murder.
The Michigan-based band was formed in 2000 and named after the infamous 1947 unsolved murder of actress Elizabeth Smart, often referred to as Black Dahlia.
Strnad was the founding member of the band, released the first singles by the group in 2001. The band’s most recent release, their ninth album, titled “Verminous,” became a hit after dropping in 2020.
The death metal band planned to tour later this year. A gig was scheduled for May 20th as part of Daytona Beach’s Welcome to Rockville Festival. The band was planning to travel to the Dynamo Metalfest, Netherlands, in August.

Trevor Strnad never married to Violet Knox. She was his girlfriend, and they have been together for a while.
Violet Knox is a model, who was best known as a result of her association with the late vocalist.
Just three days ago, Strnad shared a picture of him and Knox on Twitter along with a black heart emoji in the caption.
Sadly, Strnad and Violet were unable to tie the knot as Strnad died on May 11, 2022, at the age of 41.
