Ayisha Yakubu has been working with the Media General for a couple of months. She is well known for reading the News at 360, the evening news of TV3, and sometimes reading the news in brief in the course of the day. Ayisha has been recognized for her prowess and professionalism in newscasting alongside her other colleagues at the media house.
The newscaster is tagged by many as one of the most decent and classy newscasters. Ayisha is also an award-winning newscaster. Ayisha Yakubu won the TV Discovery of the Year at the 2019 RTP Awards organized in 2019.
Ayisha Yakubu has hosted several live shows including entertainment programs such as ShowbizPluzz on Pluzz 89.9fm. She was also on the entertainment segment of Viasat 1’s morning show ‘This Morning’ with Patrice Amegashie and Kukui Serlomey. Ayisha holds a B/A in Public Relations from the Ghana Institute of journalism (G.I.J) and a Diploma in Journalism from Jayee University.
