Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew, has expressed his delight with Ghana’s consecutive wins against Zimbabwe during the World Cup qualifiers.
The 31-year-old scoring in the win of 3-1 in the home match against the Warriors expressed his gratitude to Ghanaian for their assistance, and insisted that the race isn’t completed yet.
Despite winning the two-legged match, Black Stars sit second on the table, just behind South Africa.
Taking to Twitter, Andre Ayew wrote; “2/2 ✅ 🇬🇭 still in the race .. we will keep going ! Thanks for your support and prayers 🤲🏽👊🏽 🇬🇭”

Ayew began from the bench for the second match in Harare, which raised doubts about Milovan Rajevac’s selection. However, the former Marseille forward was given the nod as a replacement for precautionary motives.
The Black Stars travel to Ethiopia in November, before hosting South Africa in Cape Coast, with a spot in the play-offs up for grabs.
Andre Ayew has been in amazing form for both his country and club, and is scoring five goals over the past six matches in the matches of Al Sadd in addition to Ghana.
