The album, which was executively produced by Kanye West, became his lowest selling album to that point, selling 5,000 equivalent album units within the first week of release.
After a period of poor sales and mixed reviews from earlier material, his maiden 2017 single “Taste” (featuring Offset) reached the top spot at 8 on the Billboard Hot 100, being his first Top 40 single since “Ayo” featuring Chris Brown in 2015. The track was later used as the lead single on his 7th album, Legendary, which was released in the year 2019.
Tyga was born in Compton, California, on November 19, 1989, and raised there until he “was about 11, 12”, before moving to adjacent Gardena.
