Aisha Yesufu, a Nigerian social critic has disclosed that typical Nigerian politicians would soon jump ship to join the camp of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi because it is becoming increasingly clear that he would win the presidential election which will be held later this month.
Yesufu made the statement on her verified Twitter account where she also said that the politicians she is referring to, are welcome.
Aisha Yesufu is a well-known supporter of Peter Obi and has said that accountability and good governance are the expectations Nigerians have of Peter Obi’s would-be government.
She said that it is becoming more and more glaring that Peter Obi will win the forthcoming elections by the grace of God, and that the typical Nigerian politicians will decamp and join his camp.
The social critic is not the only one who believes that some elements in Nigerian politics will join Peter Obi’s camp as election day nears.
