Tyrone Davis was born on 30 June 1972 in Halifax, Virginia.
He was an American professional footballer who played as a tight end.
Davis completed his secondary education at Fork Union Military Academy after having begun at Halifax County High School.
He then went on to study at the University of Virginia where he played collegiate football.
After college, Tyrone was selected 107th overall in the fourth round of the 1995 NFL Draft by the New York Jets.
Davis played for the Jets for two seasons before being traded to the Green Bay Packers.
He played with the Packers for six seasons.
During the later stages of his NFL career, Davis has challenges with his weight which adversely affect his performance, a reason for which the Packers released him in August 2003.
Davis died on 3 October 2022 at the of 50.
