George Murdoch, known by his stage name as Tyrus, is an American professional wrestler, who is currently signed to the National Wrestling Alliance where he is the current NWA World Television Champion.
Tyrus is well-known for his tenure in WWE in the role of Brodus Clay, as well as Impact Wrestling as Tyrus.
After having a training session in WWE’s farm regions Deep South Wrestling and Florida Championship Wrestling, Murdoch debuted in the season 4 of WWE NXT, a WWE TV show in which a number of rookies were placed with WWE wrestlers to serve as their mentors.
He joined WWE’s main roster as Alberto del Rio’s bodyguard. In the year 2012, WWE altered his character to The Funkusaurus, a funk dancer whose management was by Naomi and Cameron, the Funkydactyls. He was a part of a variety of WWE stories and feuds up to his departure in 2014.
He was undefeated for several months, and teamed up with Lord Tensai, then later turned heel. From 2014 until 2017, Murdoch took part during Total Nonstop Action Wrestling under the ring name of Tyrus.
Since 2016, Murdoch, who continues to go by the name “Tyrus”, is a regular actor and panelist on Gutfeld, as well as a contributor to numerous shows that air on Fox News Channel as well as Fox Nation, FNC’s streaming service.

Murdoch along with his older brother later moved back in with their mother, however, Murdoch was able to leave home at 15.

Together, the couple welcomed a daughter called Georgia Jane on May 7, 2014.
Ingrid was already a mother to two sons before she met Tyrus. Ingrid gave birth first to her first son Rhett and then was joined later by a second son, named Rock.
