Veteran Ghanaian broadcaster, Dr. Joyce Akumaa Dongotey-Padi, better known as Akumaa Mama Zimbi has advised love birds to desist from spending on their partners until they get God’s approval.
According to the relationship expect, no man should spend a dime on her woman until he is sure that God approves of their union. She further explained that men should pray to God to confirm or reject any woman that comes into their lives.
“Before you want to spend even GH₵10 on a lady, first pray about it. Seek God’s approval first to know if the person is the right partner for you before you go ahead and spend money on her,” she explained.
Even though her assertion is in the right direction, scores were quick to share their disagreement almost instantly. Some claimed that it was the responsibility of a man to take care of his girlfriend even if they are yet to tie the knot.
