Veronika Eduardovna Kudermetova is a Russian professional tennis player who was born on April 24, 1997, in Kazan, Russia.
2022 has been one of the best years for Veronika in her career. She achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No.18 on July 18, 2022, and a best WTA doubles ranking of No. 2, which she reached on June 6, 2022.
Before that she reached a Grand Slam final at the 2021 Wimbledon Championships in women’s doubles, partnering with Elena Vesnina.
In 2021, Veronika won her first WTA Tour singles title at the Charleston Open and her first WTA doubles title in 2019 at the Wuhan Open, partnering Duan Yingying.
