VIDEO: Asamoah Gyan Hilariously Shares A Story Of How John Mensah Nearly Beat Him Up In A Dressing Room After A Football Match

Former skipper of the national football team Asamoah Gyan has shared an interesting story of how his colleague and ex-skipper of the Black Stars John Mensah nearly beat him up in a dressing room after a football match.

According to Asamoah Gyan, John Mensah who joined Sunderland Association FC in England on loan sometime in 2011 nearly beat the hell out of him after a football match. Gyan narrated that, his side was leading 1:0 before halftime as they struggled to get that single goal. When they returned from the first half, John Mensah who was the central defender of the Sunderland side wanted to guard the ball so it goes out of play but unfortunately, the opponent got a corner kick out of that and socred, making them level 1:1.

They got to the dressing room only for Gyan to confront him on the mistake that led to their opponents equalizing since everyone else in the team was scared of John at the moment and couldn’t say a word. John Mensah then got angry and warned ‘Baby Jet’ Asamoah Gyan to be careful else he will receive the beatings of his life.
