Jackie Appiah was involved in an incident that was brief with female fans who were in Dubai that recognized her sitting in the restaurant.
The jolly supporters who turned out as waitresses from the eatery place she went to quickly recognized her, even though she was wearing a black mask. One of the ladies walked closer to her, and said she knew her from Nigerian films, but she hasn’t remembered her name.
The other ladies elegantly dressed in uniforms began to surround the award-winning Ghanaian actress, and then began to investigate further. Jackie insists that she is not an actress, and did have the appearance of the person they were talking about.
They asked her politely to remove her mask. That’s the moment they realized that she’s a celebrity who is from West Africa (they never knew she came originally from Ghana).
