Confederation of African Football (CAF) Monday decided to celebrate legendary Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan.
The official Twitter page of the continental football governing body shared a video compilation of Gyan’s goals for the Black Stars at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Eight of Gyan’s 51 goals came at the Afcon, making him Ghana’s second-highest goal scorer in the elite competition.
“Whenever he strikes, he scored. Asamoah Gyan is Ghanaian star, the goal scoring machine,” caption accompanying the video read.

Last month, Gyan felt honoured after he joined other African legends to help in conducting the 2021 Afcon draw in Cameroon.
Gyan is hoping to be included in Ghana’s squad for the tournament which will commence on January 10.
