Through the tactics of coach Milovan Rajevac, the Black Stars scored a second goal by Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey.
The captain of the Black Stars, Andre Ayew sealed the victory in the final three minutes of normal time, as he shot to his net at close distance.
Ghana is hoping for a similar result or better when they take on Zimbabwe at Harare.
