Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture has been accused by the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai of having knowledge of the elements in the prs=esidential villa who are working against Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory in the presidential election.
Nasir El-Rufai had on Wednesday accused some persons in the presidential villa of working against the party’s fortunes in the general election.
The Minister of Information in a rebuttal in an address to the state house correspondents after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting held on Wednesday said that the Presidency is unaware of any elements working against the party.
In light of this, El-Rufai in an interview on Arise TV on Thursday disclosed that even Lai Mohammed is aware of the individuals he is talking about.
The Governor said that although he stands by the statement he had made earlier, he is surprised that the Federal government is the one responding to him when he did not mention it.
He said he referred to the Villa and nothing else and is convinced Lai Mohammed knows who he is referring to.
