Pedro Goncalves, head coach of Angola has stated his side’s preparedness to face the Black Stars at the Baba Yara Stadium on Thursday.
The Black Stars will take on the Palancas Negras of Angola in the 2023 AFCON as both teams seek to maintain their unbeaten start to the qualifiers. Many pundits predict that the game will be a difficult one for both sides.
Speaking to the pressing after arriving in Kumasi, the Angolan coach conceded that Thursday’s match against Ghana will be a tough one which will require his side to put in a good shift; something his side is prepared to do.
Goncalves said they know the difficulties they are going to encounter, but they are ready to play a good game in Kumasi.
He went on further to state that, it is obvious that Ghana has changed coach but he believes there won’t be much change in what their performance at the World Cup.
The second leg of the qualifiers has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 27, 2023, at Estadio 11 de Novembro in Luanda.
