Okatakyie Afrifa, Communications Director of Kotoku Royals is confident his team will defeat their host Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday matchday 14.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko had been on a winless streak in all competitions until they recorded a 2-1 win against Benab FC in the MTN FA Cup over the weekend.
In their last four games before meeting Benab FC, the Porcupine Warriors were winless, having drawn against Bibiani Gold Stars, Tamale City, Great Olympics, and Aduana Stars.
On the other hand, Kotoku Royals are battling relegation as they sit at the bottom of the league log with seven points after 13 matches.
In spite of his team’s underwhelming performances, Okatakyie Afrifa insists his side is determent to cause an upset against Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium and walk away with all the points at stake.
Okatakyie Afrifa told Nhyira that his side has a lot of respect for Kotoko and regards them as senior brothers but on matchday, they are coming guns blazing because they cannot lose the match due to their standings on the league log.
He believes that Kotoko is a beatable side and his side has the confidence to beat them because they can boast of quality players who are on the same level as their opponents.
The game will kick off at 18:00GMT.
