Nyesom Wike, Governor of Rivers State has said that there will be repercussions if the National and State Assembly candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party betray him and join the Atiku Abubakar camp.
The governor made the threat at a campaign rally of the People Democratic Party in Obio-Akpor Local Government of Rivers State.
He said that if the Senatorial candidates, his Deputy Chairman, Doctor Ipalibo Harry-Banigo, Chief Allwell Onyeso, and Barinada Mpigi, and all the House of Reps candidates and the Assembly candidates go to Abuja and do not conduct themselves appropriately, they will all be taught a lesson.
He made it clear that they will place a curse on anyone who betrays the course and therefore persons who intend to betray them should be extremely careful with their actions.
It is a well-known fact that Wike has been at odds with some PDP bigwigs who have thrown their support behind Atiku Abubakar to whom he lost the party’s primaries.
