Dr. Tony Aubynn, the Management Committee Chairman of the Black Galaxies is optimistic about the chances of the team ahead of the quarterfinal clash with Niger at the ongoing 2022 CHAN tournament.
The local Black Stars as the team is popularly known will come up against West African neighbors Niger in the quarterfinals on Saturday.
Dr. Tony Aubynn is of the firm belief that the team can win the trophy for the first time in its history if they manage to overcome Niger.
He said that he has never seen a team so united as the current Black Galaxies squad with the player working as a unit. He said the level of unity and serenity in the camp made him happy.
Dr. Aubynn thank the Sports Minister and his deputy, and the FA president for their roles in the resolution of the bonus saga. He went on to court the support of Ghanaians for the team.
The management committee chairman insisted that the team is focused on the game against Niger, and if they overcome that hurdle the trophy will certainly be coming to Ghana.
