On Monday while in Katsina State, President Muhammadu Buhari promised his unflinching support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
President Buhari paid a courtesy call to the palace of Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, the Emir of Katsina to call on him and his Emirate Council to mobilize support for Bola Tinubu.
Buhari said he and his team were in the palace to present their candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinunu, who has been chosen by the APC party and is in full support of his candidature.
He added that they will work for his victory in the general elections.
The President had recently told Nigerians to vote for any candidate of their choice during the 2023 general elections.
There have been some speculations that the Presidency is working against the victory of the APC candidate in the presidential election.
