Western Togoland Leader Papavi Dead

The leader of the secessionist group Homeland Study Group Foundation Charles Komi Kudzordzi is believed to be dead.

Multiple sources collected by Kingaziz.com reported that Charles Komi Kudzordzi, popularly known as Papavi passed away on the weekend of October 16, in the Keta Government Hospital.

The octogenarian led an insurgency and demanded the secession of the once-proudly Western Togoland, which covers the present day Oti in the Volta region, as well as some of North-East Region, from Ghana.

The 88-year-old has been on the treason trial, but was recently questioned the credibility of the attorney general.
