Billy P. Kametz was an American voice actor who was on March 22, 1987, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and was raised in Hershey, Pennsylvania, United States.

He was best known for voicing Josuke Higashikata in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable, Naofumi Iwatani in The Rising of the Shield Hero, and Takuto Maruki in Persona 5 Royal.

The graduated in 2009 from West Chester University with a bachelor’s degree in theater performance. Following that, he was the onboard voice of Stitch from Lilo & Stitch and Crush from Finding Nemo on Disney Cruise Line from April 2012 until January 2013.

In the year 2015 0r 2016, Kametz to Sherman Oaks in Los Angeles to perform as Aladdin in the final production of Disney’s Aladdin, A Musical Spectacular.

What Happened To Billy Kametz?

On April 26, 2022, Kametz announced that he would be taking a hiatus from voice acting and moving back to Hershey, Pennsylvania, after being diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer.

A GoFundMe page was created on May 1, 2022, to cover travel, insurance costs, medical bills not covered by insurance, and everyday life necessities. Kametz passed away from his cancer on June 9, 2022, at the age of 35.
