She and her daughter Wynonna formed the country music duo the Judds in the year 1983. They were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2021.
Together with the help of her daughter Wynonna Judd, Naomi formed the extremely successful duo of singers called the Judds.

According to the family of Naomi Judd, her funeral service has been scheduled to be held on the morning of May 9, 2022, at the First Pentecostal Assembly of God at 10 am. Judd will be laid to rest in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
